Do you want to find out whether your project meets thermal and sound insulation requirements? Or do you want to use KLH® components for BIM? You can find the tools here.
All exterior components are recorded in the external tool, Ubakus at www.ubakus.de , and can be reached via the link in the data sheet of the Component Catalogue.
Summer thermal insulation
The cutting attachment explains the essential factors that influence the overheating of buildings in summer. It shows that it is not the volume of heat-retaining material which is decisive. Rather, with all types of construction – be it wood, brick or reinforced concrete – attention should be paid in future to air circulation and shading to ensure effective cooling.

Do you want your projects to be sustainable and classifiable in accordance with international criteria?
Would you like your project to actively contribute to climate protection? Then take a look at our EPD. We would be happy to calculate the ecological footprint for the KLH® construction shell.
Based on these principles, the actual project data (quantities and transport) can easily be evaluated and displayed. On request, KLH Support will provide you with the CO2 balance for your project.
Further information on the life cycle of wood:
Depending on their contents (coniferous wood, formaldehyde-free PU glue), KLH panels are generally to be classified in emission class E1 as per EN 16351.
Some certificates and certifications require even lower limit values for higher classes, which is why KLH panels have also been tested at the Fraunhofer IBP in accordance with the EN 16516 test chamber method.
Based on this, KLH panels are also classified in the best class, A+, in the French FDES.
Since the term VOC is very broad and therefore also includes natural volatile wood compounds, this term should be considered a little more closely. For greater clarity, Informationsdienst Holz has created a corresponding brochure.
